The Slammin Boys began promoting their own nights back in 1992 and have held a residency in Manchester since. They have been resident at Manchester’s premier Friday Night ‘Angel Deelite’ for the past 3 years and most recently joined forces with them for their Bank Holiday Sunday 'Slammin Session'. Guests at these parties last year included Spen & Karizma, Pound Boys, Sandy Rivera and climaxed in August for The Slammin Boys 10th Birthday with Brian Tappert which was broadcast across the Galaxy FM network. Over the past couple of year’s they have travelled the world spreading the ‘Slammin Sound’ taking in Germany, Switzerland, Ibiza & New York as well as playing at the UK’s premier clubs including Turnmills/London, Thompson’s Garage/Belfast, Passion/Coalville, Bed/Sheffield, Ministry of Sound

The Slammin Boys have been entertaining and educating their listeners for
the past 6 years, through their radio show on Galaxy F.M. every Friday
night where they play the finest and most exclusive House grooves around.
The show currently has 60,000 listeners within the North of England and
over a 100,000 worldwide via the Web. These numbers have been achieved
by broadcasting a quality radio show, which has also received sponsorship
from a major drinks brand. Add to this guest DJ mixes & interviews
from some of the world's finest DJ's including Roger Sanchez, Joe Claussell,
Sandy Rivera, Brian Tappert, Bobby & Steve, Kerri Chandler, DJ Spen,
Jamie Lewis and Master’s at Work to name a few....and you have the
best, specialist show on radio
The future looks very bright for the Slammin Boys and 2003 will definitely
keep them very busy….
as well as press, news & competitions. We already have over a 1000
people registered on the site and this is growing by the day. The Slammin
Session brand is gonna be the next big thing for the boys, they kicked
off their monthly residency at Manchester's newest club Ascension in January
with CJ Mackintosh and they'll be there every second Saturday of the month,
future 'Slammin Sessions' are forthcoming soon across the UK & Europe.
A major drinks brand 'WKD' has bought into the Slammin Boys brand and
a national tour will start in May; the 'WKD Slammin Boys Decade Tour' will
take in every major city and will celebrate 10 years of The Slammin Boys.
To coincide with the tour a CD Compilation is planned for release in the
summer to celebrate The Slammin Boys Decade; this will be in conjunction
with 2 major brands we know and love and will feature ‘Slammin’ tracks
from the past 10 years. In March The Slammin Boys will launch the 'Miss
Sixty' retail showroom in Manchester, this is in conjunction with FHM magazine
and they'll be a feature on the Slammin Boys themselves within the magazine,
there is also a launch party in London planned for the near future. If
all this is not enough they have bookings at the countries most celebrated
clubs including Ministry Of Sound/London (Soul Heaven & Defected Records
Party), Bed/Sheffield (Slammin Session) Eye Candy/Edinburgh, Northern Scum/London
(Monthly Residency) & Angel Deelite/Manchester (Monthly Residency).
